CALL ME KATHERINE

The children have left for college, the house is empty, and stay-at-home mom Kitty Lundstrom just landed the writing assignment of her dreams.  What could possibly go wrong?

Everything.

Before she can say “Murphy’s Law,” unexpected circumstances require a cross country move from
Maine to Oregon. Struggling to redefine herself and cope with unwelcome life changes, Kitty embarks upon an emotional journey that threatens her home, her marriage, and her self-worth.

A graceful and intuitive novel, Call Me Katherine explores the depths of faith and love that sustain life’s most fragile and precious ties.

About Virginia Woods Meyer:

Virginia Woods Meyer

As a wife and mother of three sons, Meyer spent much of her life living and working as a home economist and teacher in rural central Idaho and Eastern Washington State. Now retired, she resides in Spokane, WA where she enjoys the opportunity to pursue a long-held interest in writing.

She is the author of two previously published books: Peaceful Valley, The Story of Kamiah’s Early Years—a historical memoir telling of her grandparents and the part they played in founding the village of Kamiah in NezPerce Indian territory.

A second book, Uphill Both Ways, is an amusing travel memoir recounting the challenges and triumphs encountered as a novice rider, bicycling 100 miles in the Catskill Mountains.

Call Me Katherine
is the author’s first fictional work.
